As a pharmacist of over 30 years, Brian has held various management and entrepreneurial positions in the pharmaceutical industry; most notably as an expert in 340B, but also in pharmacy technology, Pharmacy Benefit Management and hospital, specialty, and mail service pharmacies. Prior to joining PHS, Brian was Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, and VP Operations and Implementation for SUNRx , a leading 340B Administrator. He is a recognized speaker on 340B compliance and has held positions on national 340B regulatory advisory panels. During the 1990’s Brian was the VP of Pharmacy Services at Allscripts Healthcare, an industry leader in electronic medical records and e-prescribing. He was a member of Allscript’s executive management team that grew the business from a start-up to a successful, billion dollar public company. Brian’s early career was spent as Director of Pharmacy for various small to midsize hospitals, where he honed his management and clinical skills. Brian graduated from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy, with graduate coursework in business and finance at the University of California, Berkeley. Brian lives in Scottsdale, Arizona and enjoys outdoor activities with his family.
